Re: PWM Water Pump Shootout
Already implemented here
https://github.com/Modellfan/Zombie-Slave/blob/master/include/tesla_coolant_pump.h
You can request things like this to be added to the main branch if tested. Be good to keep things aligned on this forum so people do not go off and run different branches making support ...

You need one CAN bus so one chip for CAN1 or 2
To start the Nissan LEAF, do I need a set of IC10, IC19 and IC20 chips (CAN BUS 3 HS \ SW \ FT )?
No

Re: Nissan Leaf Stack not getting revs underload
So you what you are seeing is the battery sagging 80V and the zombieverter forcing a derate. You could tune it by allowing less max throttle and decreasing throttle ramps to have less oscillation under heavy load.

Re: Tesla Gen 2 Charger configuration help
Fact EVSE Lim or AC Lim is 0 leads me to believe there are issues with your EVSE or charge port wiring.
Did you ground your charge port to the charger?

Re: Tesla Gen 2 Charger configuration help
I do not know how the latest verson works it is still in wait state for some reason. and in op mode off. There are also more spotvalues than just those you show.
Your EVSE Lim shows 0, do you have a dumb EVSE and not a Tesla one? Or can you set your eve to a dumb version as the Tesla EVSE does not ...

Re: Tesla Gen 2 Charger configuration help
HV enable, this output comes on in the right time in the charging process during the waking of the power modules. When testing I believe there was a timing requirement between HV and AC power application to make the power modules happy.

Re: Nissan Leaf Stack not getting revs underload
major problem in your High Voltage wiring or a really shit battery.
You running straight connection right, you do not have a resistor in series with your battery?
80V drop at 200A is ALOT

Re: Nissan Leaf (and Tesla) coolant pumps
The zombie DOES not provide a pwm for the pump unless:
1. you use the pwm output and set it up as described here:viewtopic.php?t=6403
2. you modify the code and create a new PWM output function

Re: Nissan Leaf Stack not getting revs underload
This is fine
Possibly this is not an issue.
I am planning to overhaul the whole HV contactor handling logic at some point to rework all this.

CoolantPump - OUTPUT: activates during precharge, usually used for coolant pumps
Its on and off control of a coolant pump not PWM.

Re: PWM Water Pump Shootout
Thanks Greg for pulling this out, makes it easier to find for others.
I recommend you build a simple flow rig containing:
1. Pressure input gauge
2. Pressure output gauge
3. Output Flow meter
4. Valve to restrict the output to see the pressure flow impact.

Re: Tesla Gen 2 Charger configuration help
what is the easiest way to connect the simpcharge to the Tesla Charger connections B5 and B11?
Not. The Tesla charger needs to be permanently powered B1.
The BMS can be used to prevent charging starting by not providing 12V to A3.
The Charger will request HV by grounding pin A6 HV Enable ...

Re: Zombieverter PWM setup for dummies
Write code for it, you can make it as interactive and configurable as you want. Have a look at functions/parameters that do something similar.
"easy example"
Param Output Function: CoolingFan
Param: FanTemp
So many options, for testing don't worry about it. just do it manually.

Re: Zombieverter PWM setup for dummies
First try can be just to use the PWM outputs and its parameters to get the 2hz output and then tweak the duty cycle to see if it works.
No need for any code changes to run a fixed PWM duty and frequency, if you do not configure any PWM functions

Re: MLBevo Charger- 11kw & 22kw Info
I did upload it with the Simulate function still active , so may be best to reject it and I'll sync it up once modelfan reports back.
I think you could amend it, you can always get your own Branch to the state you want and do a new request. Then I will close the old one and accept+run checks on ...

Re: MLBevo Charger- 11kw & 22kw Info
If you add it inside charger module, just like Foccci ConfigCan function, I could try it even there is no parameter for it.
Not that simple. Will require quite a bit of testing to get things running just right. Need the right flow of requests and responses.
Also need to ensure it does not ...
