those concerned with back feeding after hours, (back feeding the way I understand it means, the Inverter actually sucks electricity from the wall instead of pushing it in, if it happens it's a small amount usually to have it's LED stay on or something like that

Hardmounting turned your entire floor into an acoustic amplifier. First step - rubber isolators.
Second step - you're running at least half the nominal battery voltage you should be....you don't get to randomly pick a voltage that happens to be able to spin the motor on a bench; it needs to be ...

You only answered half the question - actually a quarter. Awfully hard to troubleshoot if you can't answer simple questions fully.

My bet is you have the wrong mains frequency set up for the onboard AC charger.

It does not appear to be UL certified, and their CE ("China Export") marking means nothing, so this box cannot be tied to the US electrical grid afaik.

Re: Maximum achievable charging power with an inverter
it's very strange. I can't figure out exactly where the error is and why should I have a short circuit for the power supply?
this did not happen, there was simply no load in the form of a charging current.
in fact, I did everything exactly as indicated in the wiki for using an inverter with a ...

Re: Newb Asks: Does heat effect solar power generation?
Maybe its like with all things. In perfect lab enviroment my panels provide 325W x26 = 8450W , but real life causes them to produce cca 7500W at best. Only in conditions i described earlier they peak up to 8400W for couple of minutes...
I hear you but 7500W divided by 8450W still gives you 89 ...

Too much design splintering going on - it's impossible to maintain hardware where everybody goes off and does their own thing for CAD tools, layout/BOM, etc.

Re: RWD reduction box
Meh. Just rate your tires to break traction at 260*xNm where x is the final drive ratio and you'll likely be fine with even a 180kW inverter. That total traction break includes an LSD, of course, if installed.

The Model 3 caps are rated at 430VDC. Not sure what SDU is.
I would not go with 10 modules unless someone (you have the unit - have a look) can confirm the caps are rated to 500VDC.

Do two or three more staggered passes on those welds.
One weld bead is not enough and you do not want any undercut.

Fit tubing over the joint, spanning a couple of inches either side of the joint. Weld both ends of the tubing circumferentially with at least three passes - ensure you bevel the tubing ends to get a wide area for the weld to bite.

Re: Speed dependent throttle curve
You should simply command 0-100% torque from the traction drive motor...the rest is up to the vehicle, motor, inertia, and gravity as far as whether any regen occurs. The amount of regen is modulated by the throttle position in one pedal driving. Zero throttle is max regen.
The reason this ...
