Reading the information it seems that its now even ok to re-shell a car! I think they have gone too far with that!


From memory, re-shell used to be okay with a new shell or chassis of original spec (makes sense, and like galvanised chassis replacements on land rovers).

But to allow a used ...

This is potentially amazing news, and weird it's such a quick change and the guidelines won't be released until next week on the same day.

I have my fingers crossed it's as good as it seems!

I have loads of stuff dotted around relating to the Mk1 Zoe. I own a 2018 41kWh Zoe R110, which I've done a lot of digging and prodding with. If anyone would like any particular logs, any photos, diagrams, measurements, information etc ...

Thanks to @M.art.y for locating and sending me a leaf chademo socket with cable in perfect condition. Excellent communication, patience (when i forgot to check my messages multiple times) etc.

I've got a working Zoe 40kWh Joel, from 2018. I'm about to add Chademo charging, and will be splicing into the CAN wiring from the battery.
