I am trying to figure out hardware and a topology for controlling 4 leaf motors independently - ie different torque / current signals to each.

This sounds like a fun project. I'm assuming each motor will drive a wheel on a 4 wheeled vehicle of some sort? You kinda hinted to this in a different ...

This sounds fun. I haven't seen a ev unimog yet. I've seen a few ev Pinzgauers.
