Great :)

Also surprised about the offset though.

I have one with BMS cell module but I guess you need more?

Judging from the modules I'm using it is 98% SOH

Re: [WIP] 1971 Beetle - Tesla SDU and CATL cells

It runs on an STM32 but the code should be more or less hardware independent.
I didn't figure out the BMS that was Tomdb https://github.com/Tom-evnut/VW-bms/tree/master/VWBMSV2 and I shamelessly stole from him ;)

Re: [DRIVING] VW Touran powered by Nissan Leaf [FINISHED]

Not sure where this post fits best as it is kind of a road trip, EV improvement and CCS mix. So, I went to Hamburg to meet Mathieu who has done various conversions like the Mustang and Toyota Land Cruiser. Plan was to get CCS up to speed on the latter and fix a few things on Touran. I wanted to make...

Re: The motor turns in the opposite direction

The behaviour is expected, both motor and resolver have 4 polepairs so one physical turn is 4 electrical turns. I'm also puzzled that pinswap=6 stops the motor because the pins are swapped on the mini mainboard (https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2760) Can you post the output of http://1...

Oh that is indeed possible with that host of parameters. Will add the size change, maybe the output (quite long)

Have you only programmed the file system but not the firmware? (pio run - - target upload)

Sounds much like it. Maybe air or flow rate too low?

Re: The motor turns in the opposite direction

Like said, don't mess with any parameters, just accept that the label reverse means forward and vice versa.

It runs fine apart from spinning in the opposite direction, right?

Re: The motor turns in the opposite direction

Do not alter syncofs.

Just reverse your gear selection either per dirmode parameter or physically and be happy. Reverse=Forward

Also upgrade to the latest firmware for safe operation: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sine/releases (stm32_foc.bin)

Bargain Bin

For years I have had boards blocking my storage space that I don't have the time or ability to really sell as a product. Mostly looking to get rid of them and maybe recoup some material cost. These are now available in the "meta product" on the shop: https://openinverter.org/shop/index.php...

Dodgy connection or bad 5V reg? Thou shall measure voltages. do 12V arrive at the regulator and do 5V come out? Do 3v3 come from the 1117 3v3 reg?

Re: [WIP] 1971 Beetle - Tesla SDU and CATL cells

Hopefully someone out there can help me out with details on how to use these BMS? I'm not sure whether these have been reverse engineered. I'm assuming they are "dumb" modules that report to some main module and executes its balancing commands. You can find code for calculating various hi...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

Finally got around to re-assigning the connector pins and made the flash SPI easier to access. Moved some components around to reflect the new placement also. I'm calling it 4.5b as it is electrically identical to 4.5. Didn't want to burn up another version resistor. Does that make sense? grafik.png...

One things I noticed, the vacuum pump comes on often and could use some turn-off hysteresis. How is it controlled?

Yes, its a remix of Toms code and tailored for 8 modules:

Should be sufficient for grasping the principle and proven to work

Welcome :)

An arduino can hack it. You'd not use 0-5V but rather PWM as that is more common.

When creating new threads use a descriptive title. I've changed it for you
