Please don't open a new topic (with a meaningless title) for a little sub question.
Chose "inputype" Manual or Manual-3P and maybe set enablepol to ActiveLow to have all conditions out of the way

Re: AC charging with Foccci and Zombie, not starting

I'm going over the code changes, looking where I changed semantics.
1. I changed CanWatchdog to require ChargeCurrent AND enable to be continuously updated. Before updating one of them was sufficient https://github.com/uhi22/ccs32clara/commit/36a5473aa93c267802ef86d6f9abb8d7c5bb8638
2. I fixed the ...

Re: ESP32 Based Web Interface & Data Logger

Just saw this. Can you add it as an issue to https://github.com/jsphuebner/esp32-web-interface/ and maybe flag @jamiejones85 ?

I have worked on various firmwares.
- Added userspace SDO processing to libopeninv
- Added standard SDO commands as separate module to libopeninv
- Added Custom "start" and ...

Re: Precharge time

In Audi A2 I run the contactors similar to Zombie. It's Nissans 39 Ohm precharge resistor and it takes only a few 100 ms. Click, click.

Which sort of makes sense: https://www.digikey.se/en/resources/conversion-calculators/conversion-calculator-low-pass-and-high-pass-filter

If you go with 700 uF (a ...

Re: AC charging with Foccci and Zombie, not starting

unfortualitley some code changes broke things that I had working by others

Can you pinpoint what exactly broke it?
I mainly did cleanup work and added standalone charge mode. But also did some bugfix where starting AC charging again needed a power cycle. And I may have changed AcObcState ...

Re: Bad Decisions Make Good Stories

Curious how that will continue :) If you get rid of the vans you're no longer the man with the van, huh? Lot less to drive.

Or otherwise I hope you can eventually switch to a low maintenance electric van because... it's kind of a thing on that forum ;)

Re: LDU direct to VCU ?

I guess the answer is it was never intended to be used at that amperage but if it works for you, you can do it at your own risk.

The LDU inverter probably consumes 1-1.5A when spinning a motor. Have you tested that? Does the low side driver on Zombie become warm?

very cool hack!
Would it be worthwhile to set the MPP controller over 14V? The Gen2 Prius DC/DC by default outputs 14V (but probably Toyota adjust it...)

Re: Leaf AC charger socket polarity

That's cool but from my study of the topology doesn't matter. Both cables run through a number of common mode chokes and finally a rectifier.

Missed your post earlier, otherwise could have spared you the research ;)

You do realize that this is just meant to express the two alternatives?
You can either flash stm32_sine.bin OR stm32_foc.bin . NOT stm32_sine/foc.bin

As said, you need to flash stm32_sine.bin.

Re: Tesla SDU/LDU wifi connectivity

Yep, typo in my opening post, should say V7, V8. This thread doesn't apply to your board then. Just make sure the 3.3V rail is dead stable. Measure between some GND and the upper rightmost pin of the wifi module socket

Re: Switched ADC BMS

I worked a bit more on the self tests and added a possibility to enable the BMS despite a failed test. "enable" is set off "Off" on a failed test. For resuming simply set it to "On" again. Of course you should first determine the cause for an error message

The oscilloscope showed the waves even before I set any parameters on the web Interface. As soon as I power the vcu with 12v and supplied the high voltage 70v DC, the oscilloscope started showing sine waves. When I make changes in terms of fslipspnt and ampnom to higher figures the wave didn't ...

Re: [WIP] Leaf to VW Type 2 Campervan

The HVIL signal is reported by the LBC in a CAN frame. If you look at the stm32-car code I think I called it din_bmslock.
Not sure if the inverter checks for that itself or if the vcu needs to do it
