Re: New BMS for bq76PL455A based batteries
Hello,
quick update and hopefully someone has an idea what to do...
I now only have a cable of about 20 cm. from the battery module to the master BMS board. Since I have two strings in parallel, two mast boards were now used and communication with the Zombie VCU happens via can bus.

Re: Zombieverter and Tesla SDU Openinverter
Zombie uses some fixed CAN mapping for OI (it's probably documented somewhere...) and you have to add the appropriate mapping on the inverter side. That is until inverter firmware 5.27.R
From 5.32.R the inverter has a fixed mapping, not sure if Zombie is adjusted to that yet?
Thank you for your ...

Re: Zombieverter and Tesla SDU Openinverter
I never went down the Zombieverter route. Just stuck with the OI board in the SDU and using ESP32s for various VCU functions. Not got everything working together yet and I just killed my SDU so will be putting things on hold until I get another SDU.
I think you are correct about needing to map ...

Update:
After a Long Night with several tries, I can tell you…THE MASTER IS ALIVE!
As conclusion I can tell you what I did, that the master is running:
I compiled the code once more, now with ninja. I think there was a fault in the uf2 file.
Changed all cables to new one.

Hi Folks!
I have ordered the master boards, and they have arrived. I uploaded the UF2 file, and behold, I get a reaction... unfortunately, it's the wrong one... countless CRC errors. So, thinking that I might have made a mistake in the configuration of the UF2 file due to my lack of coding skills ...

Re: New BMS for bq76PL455A based batteries
Hello,
I just ordered the boards…the first time for me doing this🤪 I hope I did it correct.
Now my question is, how to measure the SoC. can I do this with the Raspberry Pico I use on this board or do I need another board, which takes the Voltage via CAN from this board.
Other option would be to ...

Re: New BMS for bq76PL455A based batteries
Ahhh…ok…
I think you already told me, that I can purchase the hardware from you. Correct?
If yes, please send me via PM the price and where I have to send the money…Is it also possible to get a Display for reading the SOC, Temperature and momentary current?
Thank you and best regards
Volkmar
