Re: Tesla Small Drive Unit Support Thread
No more Boards for the Tesla S Units? Ok, thats hard. Luckely i had ordered it soon enough.
@all: Anyone realize an ESP with the Tesla Units (lower the Output Power when ESP gets active)? My Smart Roadster has an ESP Module with "Trust+" that could communicate with CAN.

Re: Tesla Charger Support Thread
Ok, sounds easy. Only connect one Phase and go for 240v Single Phase and connect three for 400v 3 Phase. Max current are the same per Phase.
PS. Could i switch the Max amp without open the Controller Board? Could i controll it via can?

Hi,
a little question... How high i could go with the input DC Voltage? I use 60Ah 300Amax Cells, and i would get the most power out of it

Re: Tesla Charger Support Thread
Hi,
Is it possible to program the controller in such a way that one can charge 230V / 16A single-phase or 3x400V / 16A multi-phase without changing programming / wiring in between? Does the controller start when all three modules are switched to "on", but only one is energized?

Hi,

The "dir" equals "00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00". Is there a Table that show what a bit means in such situation?
But ive could controll the "pot" for Regen over CAN ...

Hi,
But a "2" in Theorie length and Position field means what? Two Byte, Two bit?
thats the thing that was unclear.

Re: Tesla Small Drive Unit Support Thread
Hi,
Patrick Hagemann here
About two months ago I bought a board from you (built up and tested).
The values for maximum current etc. are set to 5000A, so I was careful if the other parameters are correct.
Thx for the help.

Re: Tesla Small Drive Unit Support Thread
Hi,
i have a SDU and installed a Controller von Damien.
Sadly the documentation is not realy "Noob-Friendly". Is there a Parameter-Setup for the "first Start" ? I dont want to kill the Inverter on first try.
Thx
