I realized that I need to buy an ISA shunt. not sure how to set it up yet but it is sending out some IDs, so I guess it works.

Quick update:

the boards have 12v all the time. When I turn the car on sometimes board 5 and 6 do not power on, sometimes just board 6 does not power on. I have to turn off the 12 v to all boards, then turn it back on and then turn on the car.

Of course, that is what I am doing too. Idea is if you have too many panels and not enough space on the inverter. With this solution you do not need an inverter.

Octavius convinced me to check again before I used my metric tool and found out that this AC switch went out.

So.... After I thought that my tesla charger works, now it shows fault on the 2 out of 3 inverers that I thought were running. They were only pushing about 1.8 amps and after about 2 hours I got "fault" error on the 2 working inverters.
I am looking now for a 3.3.or 6.6kw Chinese charger on ...

I changed both. Nextion display too.

Updated screen files. baud rate changed to 115200 to update values on the screen instantly.

UPDATE:

Problem was the baud rate for the Nextion display. Now the display updates instantly. From what I've been reading 155200 is the fastest the screen can do.

So it is not the BMS that is slow. I disconnected the BMS and got the same results. Screen still slow. not sure what it is.

I can try to comment out the 2 temperatures and the average cell value for each BMS, and test, but i think that the BMS sends those messages regardless of what I do on the ESP32 and what I send to the screen.
If I measure the can buss what ohms value should I expect to see?

No way, pre-0.26 has to little dead time and will fry the FETs for sure. You can add a new custom mapping for SoC or change your display software to divide by 10


I tried divided by 10. maybe I need to divide by 100 just in case you are sending 4 digits.
Just delete and recreate the mapping or ...

Thing is it worked before changing the bms with a different software version, and I do not need 3 numbers for the charge. 47% is good. I do not want to see 47.4%
