Re: CATL 6s1p 180Ah Module - BMS Plugs Anyone?!
Hi, I finally got all my pins etc from China and rigged up a sample plug with some cables - mine are the 16pin plugs. I tried contacting the supplier from Alibaba and also your supplier to get a pin out but no luck at all :)
So.. did you perhaps get a pin out or how did you figure out which pin is ...

Re: Requesting for Guidance on Regenerative Braking Noise (ZombieVerter + Nissan Leaf)
Regenendrpm is well at what rpm do you want to stop regen. So yes at high speeds (when the motor is spinning over 1000rpm) you will have regen still.
try adjusting regenmax and regenramp.
Thank you . The noise is gone
Have changed the following parameters as follows
Regendrpm to 500
Regenmax ...

Requesting for Guidance on Regenerative Braking Noise (ZombieVerter + Nissan Leaf)
Hello,
I am using a ZombieVerter VCU with a Nissan Leaf drivetrain (PDM, EM57 motor, inverter) coupled to a 6-gear manual gearbox. I am kindly requesting guidance on how to set regenerative braking correctly.
The car was making a noise whenever I pressed or lifted my foot off the throttle while ...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test
ok, try keeping ena_in powered during update.
Yes, it worked — thank you so much. However, one of the boards tried to update and then stopped midway. The indicator lights went off permanently. I’ve tried power cycling it, but it still won’t light up. I’ve checked all the wiring, and everything ...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test
Are you running 500k CAN Baudrate?
I’m running it on a 500k baud rate.
I applied 12V to the BMS ENA_IN pin for about 4 seconds, and the board powered on (LEDs started lighting).
Next, I set the node ID to 10, and it successfully displayed the current BMS firmware version.
When I proceeded to ...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test
uh oh, that's not currently implemented but will add it. Which shunt are you using?
I have two v2.2 boards running firmware v0.23B.
I’m attempting to update both to the latest firmware, but the upload process consistently fails at around 3% (see attached image).
I’ve retried the update ...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test
Hello,
Based on the documentation, the BMS uses a shunt as one of its current sensors.
The shunt communicates via the CAN bus, using the CAN_H and CAN_L lines.
Could you please clarify where I should connect the shunt’s CAN communication lines (CAN_H and CAN_L) on the main board?
Thank you in ...

Re: CATL 6s1p 180Ah Module - BMS Plugs Anyone?!
Hi, I managed to get a bunch of connectors but they don't come with pins - just the white tab that you can push down in the middle. Did yours come like this or were they pre-terminated with cable leads? If you had to terminate all the cables, do you have any tips on the length of the bare wire ...

Re: CATL 6s1p 180Ah Module - BMS Plugs Anyone?!
I’m using the same modules—mine are 24 units (1P4S configuration). As far as I know, they don’t require active cooling.
I've attached an image showing the connectors—try checking that.
Regarding the bus bars, my supplier included them with the modules. You could try reaching out to her; she might ...

Yes worked on that, see latest commit.
Now where do we stand?
- I run v2.1, v2.3 and v2.4 hardware on a 96S system and it has survived multiple power cycles
- Mario runs 96S with v2.2, how does that go?
- Proton runs 96S now with v2.4 modules, works?
- Octavius runs 96S with capacitor patch, no ...

A friend tried it, but it makes noise whenever the coupler comes into contact with the welds, especially when driving at low speeds (around 30 km/h)

Coupler Guidance
Hello,
I've designed a coupler that directly connects the Nissan Leaf EM57 motor to my gearbox. However, I'm facing a challenge: the coupler pushes too far into the gearbox, which ends up damaging (or "eating into") the aluminum section and causes the motor side to decouple.
I've attached images ...

Re: Nissan Leaf A/C compressor 92600-3NF0A
I'm not sure there's any sort of direct translation going on here. The AC Auto Amp, I think, is doing the actual climate control job (as well as other things), so it's simply controlling the heater and/or compressor as required/desired. I don't think there is any specific corrolation between the ...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test
I swapped one module into my 64S pack and it works. Of course that doesn't say much as the old one worked as well.
To patch modules to this state first install this software: https://github.com/jsphuebner/FlyingAdcBms/actions/runs/15473329191
Never run a v2.4 BMS or one patched to that state ...
