They puff after just one cycle, even at low c rate (from experience)
I managed to make some 14s blocks out of them but with metal welded box, still works today.

It has been done before, this requires welding and machining, though.
I imagine just about everybody has a welder or someone local to them. Machining/turning the sleeve can be a bit difficult.

Electric Golf IV
I've decided to finally start building my own electric car.
I was going to convert my Passat in 2019 but just as I was about to start buying parts COVID happened and I was laid off amongst other things.
The Passat is my only mode of transportation for now, so I got this Golf instead for just ...

Invoke performance is running it with 400A, I believe.

You cannot just connect it and expect it to boost automatically. The boost reactor has to be controlled manually. And like I said it can do only 100A, about 5kw at 48v.

It's not gonna be powerful. I don't think there is a single person who used the booster to get a higher output voltage. It has been talked about but you would be severely limiting the potential output power at 48v.
The boost reactor is limited to something like 100A. At 48V this would be around 4 ...

From the video I assumed that you had it resolved somehow. I guess there go my plans for using a leaf Motor. I hope it'll work fine with a asynchronous motor.

Re: Hardware threshold switch for brake vacuum pump
I think R6 is dead, the resistance started at 6Mohm and it just keeps climbing up to 11Mohm and beyond the longer I measure it.
I'll try with a through hole resistor that I have and report back.

Re: Hardware threshold switch for brake vacuum pump
I bought it like a month ago. I'm pretty sure it has the diode in there.
If I try this again I should switch power from the pump directly, right?

Re: Hardware threshold switch for brake vacuum pump
My vacuum switch died. I hooked up everything on the Bench and it was working fine.
I disconnected 12V from the board while the pump was cycling and I saw a small spark on that 1117 component.
Now the 5V terminal is outputting only 1V.

If only I could find some IMA inverters.

We've had similar issues with our Aixam and ATVs too, they were registered wrongly as Cars or something. I've never seen Kw increase though.
