Do you know if the mk8.5 battery is the same dimensions/plug-n-play. Otherwise it would be just as much a hassle as figuring out a parallel option.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to swap the standard 3.7kW onboard charger on my Vw golf Gte 2015 model with the one from a VW e-Up 7.2kW to gain faster charging?
Preferably without the car throwing errors.

Hello world! Im new here but found the great openinverter wiki which has some good information on the VW hybrid batteries. I want to start a project but im unsure if its even possible.
Short version: I own a Golf GTE, I want more battery range without opening/modifying my existing battery.
