oil pump controller not included. 400 euro.
I'm near dublin Ireland, shipping it is not going to be practical.

Re: Lotus Elite + GS450H
Howdy, afraid I dont have the answers there re Kia stuff.
But if it was me.. obc presume that is the charger
what interactions would the bms have with zombieverter? I'd say probably nothing major outside of power up / power down routines?

Re: 2002 BMW 330ci with GS450H transmission
That's some good info about a/c - So I guess just the etron compressor and then the rest could stay the same? ( I'm thinking it might work for my e39 also )

Re: Project demystification - make openinverter.org more accessible
I welcome that this topic has come up.
I'm still at early days with my conversion, I have found the forum useful. I gotta say I didn't find the wiki hugely useful.
And I wonder sometimes what to expect, as I know this site grew up around the open inverter.

Re: BMW X5 e70
I think it might be more that Damian just didn't have an x5 or is more into the saloons.
Generally an older car may have less complex systems to deal with, and it happens that Damian has already written software to integrate with BMW Canbus for the e39/e65 ( I'm not sure how much the e70 differs ...

Re: The LandYacht BMW E39 Saloon
Looking good. This is the project that makes mine easier :) I can see the gearbox mounts line up well aft of the standard chassis holes. good for weight distribution a hway. If I recall you already had added more, not sure if that was on this car.

I'm interested as to how much less space the 300 takes compared to 450.

Re: E39e Touring
Yeah, I've read that but while there's no choice on the other steps, theres quite a few potential insurers. Some are going to be a definite no. I don't have any of the process completed but I'm not going to go ahead if theres no insurers entertaining it.

Re: E39e Touring
After seeing a question in another thread I'm now going to ring around about insurance before I commit any further. Evinsurance.ie are a no due to the age of the car. Its 20 years old. If anyone knows of insurers who do take on conversions let me know please..

yeah fair point.. I had seen on threads how to disable regen but its not something worth chancing really. I could cobble together a few lead acid batteries quick enough either.

What about branching from here https://github.com/damienmaguire/Stm32- ... 4ddd30e3fc which seems to predate some large refactoring and putting the fixes on there? Just a thought.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Hrm, pity I don't have mine running on bench yet. So its like you know what needs fixing but the fix itself is the issue. If you detail out the changes that need to be made I'm sure a few of us can look at the code and suggest how it needs to be implemented?

Re: E39e Touring
Lets be prepared for a fairly long project. Im quite happy to tear into the car once Ive everything running nicely in my shed. I've an inverter lined up. In the short-term I'm wondering about a power supply or test battery.. I had thought of putting the dc rails from an atx power supply in series ...

Re: E39e Touring
Yeah that's a bit of a strange and unfortunate situation in the UK, not sure what their logic is. There is at least a supply of tourings over there though so you should be able to pickup an early one with a blown engine or box easily enough. There were zero sport tourings for sale over here so had ...
