Excellent work,
What coupler did you use on leaf spline shaft ?
Going to have a measure up later I think

Re: Nissan Leaf Powered E46 Touring
Thanks will take a look, Just had a quote of $1400 for a plate and coupler  That would blow the budget on the 1000 euro build Think I will take a chance and go ahead and get some aluminium plate. .....right where is my jigsaw, was watching on YouTube how some guys are cutting 12mm plate wit...

Re: Nissan Leaf Powered E46 Touring
Thats good nearly getting the confidence to start making it myself>
Will you youtube your adapter build, how will you couple it and get the shafts perfectly aligned.
Might need two plates for the EM57 motor as has a overhang on the motor.

Re: Nissan Leaf Powered E46 Touring
That looks really good
I have been emailing lots people about getting a leaf adaptor plate made only to be meet with silence.
Is that 25mm plate ? did you cut down the shafts on the motor or gearbox, On the EM57 the motor shaft looks like it sticks out over 50mm.

OK, thanks
60mph isnt a really a good top speed then then , what is the maximum RPM thats J huebner controller will go up to ?

Re: Field Weakening for synchronous motors
....so I found a online speed calculator
RPM-6000
Tire size 14"
Gear Ratio 8:1 ( leaf gear box ?)
Potential Calculated Vehicle Speed: MPH 79.24 or KM/H 127.52
These figures don't seem unreasonable if accurate

Re: Field Weakening for synchronous motors
yes and those who use the complete drive unit with only one gear. Here here! I intend to use Leaf motor with original diff and 360Vdc system. I must get to 10Krpm at least to have 140km/h speed. I am thinking with your idea of leaf motor/gearbox fitment. What would a 360v pack with motor rpm pf 600...

many thanks will take a look,
is it feasible to build this board ( I wish I had the money to buy a pre build one to support the work) I have limited EE skills

Re: Resolver Excitation with V2 mainboard
Hello, I want to build this I'm NOT a EE :? but have some basic knowledge with the components, Is it possible to explain how this actually connects to the resolver wiring from the motor (Ex, Sin, Cos ) would be possible to see a reverse side of circuit pref borad in the pic could someone design a PC...
