[SOLD] Tesla Parts for conversion for sale
Hi !
I have now come to the conclusion that I will not be able to finish my conversion of the Citroen C8.
Therefore I will offer my parts sale.
I have a complete but disassembled S85 pack with the normal 16 modules.
I´m doing capacity test of the modules at the moment and 6 has been tested so far ...

Hi All!
No progress inb over a year....
Well not really that bad. But anyway.
Johannes was kind enough to give me a hand in the workings of the Tesla LDU that I have for my conversion.
It went really well.

Hi !
No real progress the last couple of weeks, but I have been looking at upgrading the suspension along with the brakes when doing the conversion.
I have been searching a lot for a kit to convert it to air suspension.

Re: Tesla Model 3 Charger
What I can tell you is this. When I had the PCS on the bench obviously I had no idea what CAN messages were needed to fire off the various functions and of course no one was sharing. So I used the fuzzing feature in savvycan to basically blast every possible message combination until something ...

Hi !
Damien, have you analysed the model 3 charger at the extent that you can verify that hardware design would support bidirectional charging?
regarding:

Re: Citroen C8 with Tesla stuff
Ok finally some real progress!!
Managed to flash a ESP-01 with Johannes Wifi sketch yesterday,
And got it to talk to the V2 LDU board.
Now next step is to connect it a bit mor secure and update the the LDU board to FW version 4.76.
That might happen tomorrow.

Re: HOWTO: Flashing ESP8266
FYI if the sketch and the SPIFFS will all fit on a 1MB chip (like Damien's interface for the GS450h) I was able to use the super cheap ESP-01. You don't have to solder pins, just connect 2 extra pins while flashing. It made it easy practice (especially when you are modding code like me) before ...

Re: Citroen C8 with Tesla stuff
I was not able to flash the ESP yesterday.
I tried but there is just to much I don't grasp.
Probably I need another usb->ttl converter.
I tried with a ftdi usb-rs232 and then one of these rs232 to ttl coupled to that.
I get some kind of communidation but is acts a bit scetchy.
More attemps tonight ...

Finally some news in this thread!!!
I made some FAT mistakes when I started this build.
I totally over estimated my capabilities in the electronics area.
The partly populated board I bought from Damien never got really finished in my hands, so I begged him to sell me a tested one.

I'm interested to help with development.
I have both a master and a slave unit.
And I have done some work on embedded units in the past.
Even with FreeRtos. But not on the Stm however.
send me a pm so we can discuss if I qualify....

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit Support Thread
In my opinion:
If the BMS reads a to low voltage or to high current it should signal the inverter to back off or be in control of throttle signal to back the current off.
The inverter should be able to control the contactor but also be able to detect if the inverter has a short to be able to break ...

Hi !
I'm struggling to get my p85 motor running since more than a year back.
Lately I have regained some momentum and tried to wire the motor up again.
I have made a small control panel with swithces for ignition, start, forward and reverse.
Throttle is also connected but no resolver cable yet ...

Hi !
Is this the two Sub that was on blocket like two months ago for cheap ?
Like 2009MY or something ?
I was looking at them thinking It would be a interesting build.
But I already have a couple of projects....
So I passed on them.
REally nice builds !!
Fun to see some more conversions in Sweden ...

Yes !
I know about the Patreon and support him there but that is on a monthly basis.
I was thinking more as a big effort to get his hands on a M 3 DU a bit faster.
I see it as full open source, be it hardware or software.
It would be interesting to know what Damien thinks about it.
Best Regards ...
