I am new here, but I just saw that Ford is selling the eluminator motors for $1,500 or so. That seems like a lot of motor for that price. Is there a catch?

Howdy, I just joined this site b/c I have a 1961 Morris Minor and have been thinking about perking it up a bit. Electric seems like a good way to go. Lots to learn before jumping into a swap, so I hope to pick up a few tips from watching you guys.
