Hi guys,
I have a question regarding to Teslas SDU and FDU with the different part numbers 1037000-00-F and 1035000-00-F.
Does anyone know whether the inverters are identical? So the electronic itself?
Long story short. I'm searching for an inverter for the 1035 an the question is, can I use an inverter for the 1037 as well?

I don't know about these part number specifically but one of my customers found there are different length motor cables. When too long you can recrimp them, when too short... hmm

Re: Tesla SDU / FDU
Thank you Johannes for the information. I don't have an FDU in my hand, but extended my research. It seems that the inverter housing is the same for SDU and FDU. If you look from the side you see that the housing is turned in a 90° angle.
And as mentioned in an other article here in the forum the electronic is the same and for that the SDU drop-in logic board works for both engines.
In this video you see the SDU electronic:
And here you can find the FDU electronic:
In comparison you are right Johannes, the length of the cables are different.
