jlr DC/DC hacking
jlr DC/DC hacking
Unit is by LG Innotek.
J9D314B227AD is this example. Outward appearance seems identical for I-Pace and LR/RR Hybrids..
Internal Photo..
Anyone started to do anything with this? Input please.
I will start with figuring out the 8-pin connector.

Re: jlr DC/DC hacking
I will try to make some sense of this..
How exactly was this powered? only on the 12V side? If HVDC was used, what voltage?

Re: jlr DC/DC hacking
probable counters and checksums..
ID 194 counter D3 low-nibble increments (0..15)
ID 194 checksum D7 == CRC-8(poly 0x31, init 0x00, xorout 0xFF) over [D1,D2,D4,D5,D6,D8]
ID 54 counter D1 high-nibble increments (0..15)

Re: jlr DC/DC hacking
Finally some logs of PMZ can from a LHD ipace. Not tested on the dcdc yet but seems to have the correct ids and wakes an ipace gear selector that is also on PMZ can.

Re: jlr DC/DC hacking
Seems the DCDC wants to see 0x030 , 0x094 , 0x17A,0x583. All static except 0x17A. It does not need any +12v feeds from the multiway plug. Wakes on can. Does not care about hvil. Does not care about much really.
