Nissan Leaf Regen and Throtramp issues on V2.31a

Post by Alibro »

Hi guys
I've been running firmware version 2.31a in my Freelander with a Nissan Leaf Gen1 motor/inverter for several months now but recently noticed an issue with adjusting regenbrake and throtramp. Although I have regen working when I make adjustments they don't have any effect and similarly I can't adjust throtramp. The number in the paramaters changes and saves but I don't feel any difference.
The car drives great and regen is fine as it is but it would be nice to be able to play with the settings.

Here are a few screen shots and the paramaters json

regenmax is at 0. Have you tried input a negative value like the regenbrake?

You trying to reduce throtramp by any chance?

So Tom suggested a change to one of the Nissan Leaf files in Zombie and it seems to have worked a treat. I now have full control of the level of brakeregen in the same way I had in firmware 2.22.
I don't think the change made any difference to throtramp but since the throttle response feels great I don't feel any need to change it.
Tom, If you want me to test throtramp let me know.
Thanks for your help mate.

Note the change of this value came from others findings here:

So there is more work to do yet.
