Thank you.

Now only problem is that I don't seem to be able to log in to the wiki. Username and password works fine for the forum but not for wiki. And when I try to reset on the wiki says the username/email isn't recognised. Weird.

OK - thanks. Will try re-registering. But all the instructions I can find say your forum username and password should work on the wiki.

EDIT: there's no way to register directly on the Wiki. Have messaged @johu for help.

If you really don't need that smoked board, I'll happily trade it for donation or patreon support ;)
Bacause I'm not shure if those salvaged connectors will do the trick...
Product of three hours of soldering iron misery:

White connector turn out to be really heat resistive, otherwise it wouldn't make it

Double posting this here from my E39 build thread just in case :

Bit more driving around this morning in the E39. Did a few acceleratoins with measured 70kw on the battery side. No problems. Got one desat event when I tried to be a hero and pull away in 4th. Restarted and drove away in 3rd. Looking very promising so far.

Very cool.

Progress on my side - of a sort. Finally got that 10k swapped for the 8K2 and now have a much healthier -4.81 on the -5V supply...but udc is still waving around all over the place!

Time to start stripping down inverter number 2...

I've swapped the resistor over.

My UDC plot is below. ~0.5v difference

Baffled and a bit fed up right now. Could really use some help trouble shooting.

Stripped down the new inverter, installed the board in it, and udc still all over the place - with udcgain set at 6.12 and 33.6V coming in, it's reading anywhere from 23 to 180 V.

So it doesn't look like the inverter is the issue.

But I've now confirmed a solid -5v supply and checked the path from the 50-pin connector to the ADC that reads udc. 50-pin connector has been checked under a microscope and any bad connections fixed.

I'm giving up for today. Will come back to it tomorrow. But any suggestions in the mean time for what I might try next would be very welcome. Convinced I'm doing something stupid but clueless as to what it might be.

When testing is the lid on the inverter and all the bolts for the capacitor done up tight?

Yep. Doubting myself so just went around and checked it all again - that's the two on the opposite end from the AMPSEAL connector and the one next to the two battery terminals that you can access from the outside. Plus the two battery connectors obviously.

I'm other side of the Pennines if you want to try your board in my inverter or my board in yours.

Damien if you haven't donated the smoked board already. I would love to have it for my gen 3 Prius inverter as it would help me get my project off the ground and in return i would gladly do a pateron donation and pay for shipping.
