The Chevy Volt batteries are tough to rearrange as you are suggesting, I would need to cut the series connection as seen in this video:



I want to avoid dissembling this pack any more than I have to. My original plan was to use the (3) complete sections of each pack (total of 6) and distribute the weight between the front and back of the vehicle as close to the middle and as low to the ground (low center of gravity) as possible. I'm wanting to get a 60/40 weight ratio with the back heavier than the front to add a little downforce.

I'm hoping to get quite of few horsies stomping the ground with this build.

On some packs it's easier, on others it is harder. Arber did this on a very difficult Jaguar pack. Well you'll have to try maybe you can avoid it.

I just by chance saw your item regarding the Tesla motor in the LM Corvair!
I am the process of installing a Tesla Model S motor in a '67.
I was wonderind how far you got with your project & if we might compare notes?
