Anyone experiencing problems running motors in reverse after successful tuning please set fwkp to 0 and try again. Johannes and I are working on this problem. A full tuning and tutorial video can be expected in about a week.

Have the parameters from the FOC tuning video been posted on the forum? I can't find them and I'm very curious on the current gain from the Yaris MG2 outputs used by Damien.

When it comes to paralleling the inverter MG1 and MG2 outputs is there any particular way those connections should be made?
Create three short cables to link MG1 inverter output to MG2 output. Then link MG2 output to the motor?
Or, two separate runs? One from MG1 inverter output to the motor and another from MG2 inverter output to the motor?
Does it matter?

When paralleling transistors, it's often a good idea to have resistors to ensure current sharing. Run two sets of wires about the same length for the MG1 and MG2 outputs, but MG2 should use wire with about twice the copper cross section as MG1 since MG2 is rated for more current.

The din_ocur is in error status because in the design of the board, input PA1 is not connected, it should have no effect to the function.

Hey folks, I am setting up the following:
Inverter: Toyota Auris/Yaris Inverter
Motor: EM61
Resolver
Board: Auris/Yaris/CT200H Inverter Logic Board V2 Block II
Firmware: v4.97.R
I am getting an angle plot that looks like:
It responds generally close to the expected trend, however when I quit turning the motor shaft it has a large jitter value (15 - 100 degrees) on the angle it rests at.
I believe this is a resolver wiring job issue on my end. I have been trying all sorts of wire combinations (in the manner Damien suggested in his FOC Tuning Video) but can't seem to rid myself of this 15 - 100 degree buzz. Has anyone experienced this before?
I have identified my resolver wiring pairs (excitation pair and my sin/cos pairs) properly. However, I think my error may lie in my sin/cos pairs to PCB connection:
Resolver Wire J1 PCB Pin
Excitor 1 ----> 21 (MG2_EXCA)
Excitor 2 ----> 22 (GND)
Sin 1 ----> 16 (MG2_ENC_1)
Sin 2 ----> 18 (GND)
Cos 1 ----> 17 (MG2_ENC_2)

Try and move the sin and cos from GND to MG2_SINA and MG2_COSA.

Thanks for the suggestion bexander. However even after moving my sin and cos from GND to MG2_SINA and MG2_COSA I am still experiencing a rather nasty (and relatively constant) amount of jitter/noise (around 50 to 100 degrees worth).
(I have updated my naming conventions to match information I dug up in the forum yesterday)
For clarity, my connections are as follows:
cos+ (S2) ---> MG2_ENC_1
cos- (S4) ---> COSA
sin+ (S1) ---> SINA
sin- (S3) ---> MG2_ENC_2
Also, I monkeyed around with these four feedback sin/cos connections and my jitter remains active in all 4 sin/cos configurations.
After investigating with my scope, the excitation and feedback signals look like:
EXCA = 12V (peak to peak) sinusoid [this could be a bit high, as Johannes has mentioned that we're looking for a 7V-9V amplitude]
MG2_ENC_1 = 1V-3V (peak to peak) sinusoid, varies when I manually turn the motor
MG2_ENC_2 = 1V-3V (peak to peak) sinusoid, varies when I manually turn the motor
(feed)
I also have access to a Gen 3 V1C Block III board, and I am seeing the same behavior. This makes me think that I may have an issue with my setup.

That is some truly heavy jitter. I'm assuming you're not running the inverter yet, just turning by hand? How about shielding and grounding of shield? Can you send a picture of your setup?

On the Yaris boards when using resolver you would need to remove the two pullups R30 and R29. See schematic :

Thanks for the input guys! I now have a functional Auris V2 Block II Inverter.
The old 'take everything apart and put it back together' trick came through for me. I had pulled R29 and R30 prior to my original post as I had found Damien's original heads up in another forum, but I can see that being an easy thing to miss! I think my problem must have been a bad connection somewhere in my system. I kept bexander's advice with the sin and cos connections to MG2_SINA and MG2_COSA when I rebuilt my setup. Thanks bexander!

Yaris/Auris block 111 board,imiev motor supposed good, same results on mgr bench pig Help please , having failed to find anything on the angle plot, I went back to see what the resolver is being fed, this is the exciter output to the resolver nothing else except wifi connected, latest FOC software, inverter running doesn’t look right to me where to look for possible problems?

And my first question: to make it work with resolver I need to remove R39 and R38? As I remember correct, Damien you said you'll make a jumper for switching between encoder/resolver?
