my local wreckers sell the stack for 350 USD. But, that's cause they aren't really aware of how to part out EVs that integrate like Nissan does. i'm picking up an extra just to have around.

I would recommend going to
www.car-part.com to search junk yards near you. These Nissan towers are not real desirable as replacements as they don't really fail, and there are a lot of these Leafs out there, so you'll find there's plenty of stock. I'm sure that contributed to the price. I bought from a yard called Gundies who is a chain in the PNW. They didn't have to shop it either.

Any idea if this is still available, thinking of putting it in an older high mileage leaf

I sent a text but he called back.
They are all 40kwh packs apparently, directly from Nissan and less than a year old he said. I said to him i would not want to spend anything more than 3k on a whole pack but he seemed ok with it and went off to talk to his boss about it.
Maybe if we took a pack each we could get some discount

I could use one on my 24kWh Leaf, but I think shipping to Finland could be a problem..

Alex: Suppose I’m happy to do one-each deal if we can get them for cheaper, think I’ll put it in a high mileage leaf gen 1 and have a sub £5k 150mi range run about.

I'll message him and see what the price would be for 4 packs. I'm happy to forward pallets on?

Rather annoying but this seems to have died, no response to my messages since the initial phone call. There is a separate number I'll try tomorrow.

Probably gone. Picked up by someone with cash on hand would be my guess.

From UK to Finland I think it will be expensive, but I could be wrong, newer shipped batteries from UK to here..
Something with good price will usually go fast.
