Hi Forum. Contemplating fitting a Tesla S or X front drive unit but my battery pack is rated 360v nominal and a max of 250-300 Amps. Does anyone have an idea of what power can be achieved please? Thanks in advance. Peter

Well, power = voltage * current

100kW then

Thanks Johannes. I guess I still need to divide the power by 1.414 to get actual power the motor can deliver ? Thanks again. Peter

No because then your drive train would only be 60% efficient

1.41 just translates between AC and DC voltage/current. 360V, 300A DC at full inverter amplitude translates to 255V, 423A AC.
