The standard Feb 2021> rear motors looks like a complete re-design to the usual large Tesla rear motors

I would imagine some will hit the market pretty fast. I fully expect a percentage begins to be wadded up before you can count on two hands how many have been delivered. Id love to get my hands on one.

They'll join the legions of Hellcat Redeyes with less than 5k miles on Copart and IAAI.

I've got to imagine any wrecking yards breaking them up will want an arm, a leg, and your first born child for at least the first few years.
If at first you don't succeed, buy a bigger hammer.

On the bright side for motor survival, they should be mostly front and side impacts.

Model 3 has the same part number for the rear inverter as the latest Model S LR!

Yep, it looks like Plaid and LR are full of Model 3 inverters and motors -- mostly unmodified besides that high speed rotor. Thank goodness Damien's working on a M3 control solution!
