Hi,

I am doing a feasibility study for building a tesla powered glider launching winch. My first question would be can I use regen when running the unit in reverse. We would want to regen whilst pulling out the launch cables which will be reverse direction. I realise there would be oil lubrication issues in any case.

Firmware doesn't care about direction for regen, or anything really. You could set up distinct levels via parameter changes over CAN, but its not a default.

OK sounds good, I thought the firmware/software might complain.
