Great work
My only comment is that I'm not sure you can legally change the license of the existing hardware design... I'm sure Johannes will have a view

This hardware is released under the CERN Open Hardware License V1.2

Hi,
it's in README.md:
Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by ... /legalcode
That said, nice work

The CERN license is purposed towards open hardware. It does not seems to be in conflict with the original license language.
AFAIK you cannot change the license (
here)... my advice is to keep the same license so that we don't risk a legal dispute in the future
Great to see KiCad gaining some traction here... I'll try and find a way of getting Damien's library ported so that he can transition at some point

See above comment.

OK does that mean you change it back to CC?
I'd very much prefer that to maintain compatibility when I add your files to my repository.

Looking at the picture above all the traces and ref designators are exactly like in the eagle design. Is there in import tool or did you go through the trouble of drawing a 1:1 copy?

On the main project window: File | import project |eagle CAD
You can create a kicad pcb from gerbers too using gerber viewer: File |export to PCBnew

FYI: Since AutoCAD took over Eagle has Educational license
https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/eagle Many schools participate, you need school email to receive the license ... or alumni

Teknomadix : On your website there is no way to contact you Via phone and do you have a physical address ? I am asking because your website looks sketchy to someone about to spend money . You look like a fly by night operation .

I dono, smells fishy ...converted to kicad and calling it revolutionary (2 clicks file-> import), slapped your name on it and selling it as a "new" kit for $350?

I'm cool with people setting up a business even though I do agree with Dima that the size ratio between Huebner and Teknømadix doesn't quite reflect the value added. And I think this should be made clear to anyone forking off in the future: no relicensing. It is CC, it will stay CC. Will point this out in the README.
No hard feelings, Mr. Bond. I hope it works out for you and helps growing the community.

Cool, so like said it is the very target of open source to distribute knowledge without the restrictions of more traditional license agreements. So what you've done there is the way it is supposed to work. I believe you've grasped the rules now
1. make an effort to find out about the original license and do not change it (which you have corrected now)
2. Give credit (which you have)
3. Be humble
So go on, make boards

I know it's a bit of a drag to organize manufacturing.
