Tesla LDU iacmax

Hello,
who can tell me how to set the iacmax correctly on the Sport LDU? I want to play it safe and not destroy the controller. In the online parameter overview the value is 5000A but with this value all security is probably deactivated. I have now tested and driven the motor with 1000A, but the derating occurs relatively quickly and the motor has little power in the lower speed range.

Take a look at the parameter sets shared here:
https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=195
Jon's parameters are probably the most extreme setup that has significant street time.

I didn’t play too much with current limiting settings. I found pushing too had against them would cause oscillation into a desat fault. A sport unit should be able to take more, but I don’t have any experience to say that more comes in additionally aggressive settings or it just makes more power at equivalent parameters.

Thank you very much for the hints, as I can see the max values are always 5000. According to my conversation with Mr. Johannes Huebner, the LDU can only tolerate 1200A but he is not sure. If I now go to 2000A or more, the output stage won't burn out either?

iacmax sets the point at which the OpenInverter board will start reducing current. It is basically a safety measure -- if current gets that high it will be reduced.
With a parameter set like Mr. Volk's, the other parameters (fslipmax, boost, fweak etc) drive the motor within its safe limits so that current stays lower.

Oh, thank you very much for this explanation, so should I use the suggested parameters and avoid derating?
Does anyone know at what maximum motor current does the whole thing settle? So what is the maximum motor current for the LDU? The point is that I cannot go to the maximum because my cardan shaft cannot handle the maximum torque. But if I don't know at which motor current the maximum torque is applied, I can't throttle sensibly. I hope you understand my question, my english is not good I work with a translator.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Lowering fslipmax reduces maximum torque most effectively.
