Even more V2 mainboard and leaf adapter board questions !

I've got most things hooked up to start the inverter, but I'm getting "HICURROFS 1 " and 2, error messages, before I try to start the inverter.
If i command "get il1" and 2 ,it returns 0.00 (no HV dc connected yet ) which seems right ? Have I got the wrong pin-swap selected ( only choice is "currents 12 ,or " PWM 12 " on V4.33B version ) ?

HICUROFS is independent of pinswap. It means when at idle the voltage delivered by the current sensor is outside the window of 1.25-2.08V. Do you have a voltage divider for 5->3V3 in place?

Ah ! Now I remember watching an older video where you mentioned this - Doh.
So if I put a 4.7k , or 5.6k resistor across c6 and c7 that should sort it .
Thanks Johannes

Yay, diagnostic messages have diagnosed something meaningful

I'm getting this same error on my V3 mainboard:
[6]: WARN - HICUROFS1

I can only repeat

It means when at idle the voltage delivered by the current sensor is outside the window of 1.25-2.08V. Do you have a voltage divider for 5->3V3 in place? For V3 this means R50/51 populated with 4k7?

I'll check, I do remember changing a couple of resistors.

Top tip! Solder
both ends of resistors...

Glad I'm not the only one then!
Does anyone know if this FOC software will run without the resolver connected ? I want to spin the motor( slowly ) in
order to line up the motor/coupler/gearbox . I'm going to have to bodge the resolver connections , 'cos I can't find a plug,
and I'm not paying £100 for one (cheapskate )

.

Yes , indeed. Is there somewhere we might see a list of these , for future reference , I know some are self-explanatory,
others maybe not so much .

I think you should use the normal software for simple spinning. Don't think FOC will do anything without resolver.
List of errors is here:
https://openinverter.org/wiki/Errors (not up to date, yet)

Thanks , I will . But I did get it spinning for a short time , with 24v dc ,while I was trying to connect the resolver correctly!
It must be right now because it was spinning ?

Wrong ! It's not . Spinning that is . No matter what I do I keep getting error LORESAMP . I think my LM386 may have failed - It's a nice sine wave ,
but only 3v p-p. I 'm not sure what it should be , but it seems low ? That's with the gain whacked up to max. No obvious shorts.
I've measured the resolver dc resistances and I get
Sine + to - - 27 ohms
Cos + to - -27 ohms
Exciter - 12 ohms
Does anyone know if these are in the ballpark?
Maybe I should start a new thread ?

Resistances are like mine. 3V p-p is not enough, should be more like 7-10V

Forgot to remove R4 from the mainboard ! Sine wave much healthier now - Should I short out R6 as well ?

Yes I recommend it. Also C3 should be removed.

That's a lot better - with 10k R6 still there loresamp would sometimes appear , but now all ok . Motor is running smoothly at 24vdc!
No regen , but i assume that's down to parameters ?
Thanks Johannes
