I have in my garage a Marina Coupe its started life as a 1.3 with a 4 speed gearbox.
I have two 7.5kw A/C Motors and would like to mount one directly on to the rear differential flange.(with cradle made up to lock it to the rear axle)
I plan to get a flange made up to suit the diff flange. The rear axle is from a Triumph Dolomite Sprint.Further plan for the rest of the car is using a Nissan leaf battery charger and inverter
and whatever battery is available when the time comes.
but I am unclear how to set up a resolver for the A/C motor. does it attach to the outside (fan) end of the motor.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Regards Gary

What is the diff ratio? I’m not sure you’ll have enough gearing to appropriately move the vehicle.

there’s many different resolver “kits”, you may be able to find a “resolver bearing” and replace one of the rotor bearings with one.
