so if it wasn't getting in the way of the rear mount I would leave this 15 pound weight on the tail of the transmission but it's so much nicer to design a mount without it, my logic goes like this there is no violent turbulent force from the internal combustion engine spinning the input shaft any more so do we really need it, but needless to say I am dumb as dirt so please set me straight on the mathephysics of this juncture

It's a mass damper designed to help make a lexus silky smooth, I strongly suspect that in your truck the only way you would tell you if it had dropped off would be if you ran over it. (Don't weigh it in till you've tried it but I think your pretty safe losing it)

As mentioned it is a tunned mass damper - mass and position would have been fine tuned by Lexus in NVH labs.
You are completely re-engineering the drive train so effectively making this null and void.

You could remove the weight and use the bolt holes to mount something there.
