iv started a Mechanical design database on the wiki
https://openinverter.org/wiki/Mechanica ... n_database

the idea here is to post anything from adapter plate deigns to 3d printable cable glands.

ideally things like adapter plates will have some standardized features, like a NEMA B-face bolt pattern.
this will make different parts cross compatible: one person makes a adapter plate for a outlander motor, and another for there fords 5speed transmission, both of these designs mate into a seamless assembly.

iv started making a table and will be filling it out with the current designs i have.

having multiple designs, for the same hardware, from different people, is encouraged. This helps weed out potential errors in dimensions.

Great idea! I've wanted to find a sensible place to upload some of the 3d print parts I've designed for the Prus Gen 2 inverter. I added those plus the outlander motor part I designed a while back.
