Commercial v2g/h unit internals

A few photos below of a commercial 6kw v2g/ h unit.
Unit was bought second hand and noticed a sloshing noise when I moved it so had an excuse to submit to my curiousity.[

Odd for a high volume commercial product to be based around a dev board,

Oh, to be that young again. And also a robot.

This is FAR more common than you would hope. Ironically, the more big and expensive the stuff, the less you have to bother with things like miniaturization and cost savings.

This is an early version i believe based on beagle board black, later ones indra roled out a more integrated board i think to meet new regs maybe.

:twisted: nope it's current production from what I have seen , there is a new proposed design with in house bidirectional design using sic components. But don't think they are in the wild. Every opened unit I have seen is like this.

I have a complete dump of the BeagleBone file system, and both can1 and can2 logs if anyone is interested.

Tempted to DIY my own V2G as a V2H this summer.

Just received my used indra v2g device that I suppose not able to use in v2g because outside UK. Do you have any detailed teck info about the PRE v2g500 inverter model? I can find only this short document: https://www.chademo.com/wp2016/wp-conte ... asheet.pdf

are there any bi directional CCS charger on the market right now? and which cars support it?
