Hey Jon, I've been following your project with great interest as I'm also thinking about converting an E30. In my case it will be a Touring.
Do you have any more info and pictures of the LDU mount under the car? Specifically the front engine mount, I can't find any pictures about where that is connected to.

Btw, did I see correctly that you've welded the rear subframe directly to the chassis? Did you also remove the subframe rubbers on either side of the subframe?
