Hi, I am a technical teacher at high school. We've igbt inverter for a three phase our Wound-rotor synchronous motor control project (5AMA400) with my student. We want to vector control on our motor. In the tests,



We have problems this issue.
Are we applying the rotor excitation according to the desired torque value?
We could not understand this from the formulation and text containing the motor model.
What should we take as a reference to apply the PWM signal for rotor excitation?

We want to control our hand made inverter and our DSP TMS320F28379D.
Please help to us this issue.

Not exactly sure what you're doing there, your probably not using the openinverter firmware?

There are a lot of things that need to be right for the motor to spin. All I can suggest is that you make sure:

• You have the resolver set up right and calibrated to the rotor position
• You have the pole pairs for the resolver and motor set up correctly
• The current monitoring is on the correct phases and has the correct polarity
• The motor phases are connected so that forward movement of the rotor matches forward movement of the resolver
