I just ordered one of these for $50. I know theres not a working board yet. How can I test to make sure it’s a working inverter? Says could not be tested, sold as is.

I actually ordered 2 from this same retailer.
Assume they're E-Waste... And Unlikely they're the 980 version.

Of the two I ordered, one was a 980 (yay?), the other was a 960 (front)
PCBs were damaged to the point where I wouldn't really put HV on them without going thru some serious confirmations.
They're plenty good for parts, and likely with 2+ ordered, between each you could make a decent inverter.

The units I received seemed like they were taken off the motors, and thrown into a bin, as the damage seems related to hitting other inverter bodies (damaged SMD components) etc...

For the price, it was still a decent deal. I was hoping to test out some of the model 3 mods that Damien has been working on, As well as having a spare set of FETs.
