Hi,ive been running my car with zombie and gs450h with its inverter not sure what happened but the inverter blew, shared are the internals of the inverter, what would have gone wrong, could it be that I connected the bus bars incorrectly and not having bypassed the DC-DC converter?

Did you do anything before it blew? Any more details on what was going on before it failed?
It looks like the 12V dcdc melted...

This does not look like a GS450h inverter I ever seen.

I've been driving the cars for about 3 weeks, today I drove the cars quite hard on the main highway, suddenly the ceased and few seconds later there was smoke from the inveter. I'm got the gs450h motor and this inverter, I'm starting to realise that this inveter could not be for the gs450h

Is it? I had realised this, I got the motor and inverter and motor from different car breakers

Looks like you connected the HV wrong, it is before the booster and you have fried the 12V DCDC and possibly done more damage. You need to connect to the Inverter bus and not the Battery bus.

I've just learnt something after this - I have not being using the correct inveter for my motor and as Damien says, need connection directly to the busbars, however I had not bothered to open it up before and I assumed the sideways connector was similar in position to the gs450h inverter

Just relaised I did not confirm my inverter part number, I received the motor and inverter from different vendors.. This particular one is for a Gs600h

That inverter is not from a 3rd Gen GS, might be from a newer model?

In my country the gs450h is a rare car, my oversea supplier supplied me with the wrong inverter combo, following the wiki i wired it wrongly since i assumed it might be the same configuration with the gs45oh OEM converter
