Hardware throttle limit/eco mode/reverse limit

Just drew this up for a customer so thought I might as well post it here.
Pain: you have no VCU and no CAN communication with the inverter but want to limit throttle for whichever reason.
Solution: limit max throttle output voltage with a shunt reference (or Zener, but they are less predictable I think)

2V ref for 60% limit https://www.digikey.de/de/products/deta ... PR/1493975

2.5V ref for 75% limit https://www.digikey.de/de/products/deta ... -5/1510026

1.2V ref for 35% limit https://www.digikey.de/de/products/deta ... -2/1510303

Those numbers assume a pedal that outputs 4.2V fully depressed

I have been meaning to do similar but adding a resistor to gnd switched in so throttle pedal become less sensitive in reverse

Unfortunately the pedal then drops out of the lower range limit

Good to know!
