Unwanted "over current" messages Prius20

Post by alehandro »

Hi guys. My setup consists of a Prius20 inverter and a Lexus motor. When I use it at full power (160A 180V battery current), I sometimes get the inverter to stop due to excess current, this creates inconvenience. With the settings I could not get it to work without failures. Maybe you have a firmware version with the ability to not receive current limit messages?

I think I will include this in the next release. Had similar issues and created a FW on the fly that ignores the input and just keeps going. Runs fine.

Oh, that's great Johannes, I'll wait for the new firmware release for normal operation without a current error. Thank you for all the work!

You can download a preliminary binary here: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sin ... 8942103986

It looks like I couldn't make friends with the demo versions of the firmware 8-). I downloaded the binary file via the web interface and could no longer see the parameters in the console. I thought maybe I had damaged the bootloader and repeated the installation via St-link. And so, when I use the bootloader version 4 and the hex file, I see the download process happening without any comments (I rely on this), after that I again do not see the parameters in the web interface. Okay, I tried everything again with bootloader version 5 and now I can see the 5.34 parameters in the console. But as soon as I restarted the board's power, the parameters are no longer displayed, even here http://192.168.4.1/cmd?cmd=json. I repeated the download several times, the parameters disappeared as soon as the board was restarted. Although the LED blinks as if everything is in order. I took a screenshot immediately after installing the firmware without turning off the power. I decided to download the previous version 5.32, the parameters do not disappear.

A snapshot before the board was powered off. If you restart, only the web interface without parameters will be visible. I will assume that the file 5.34, after being extracted from the zip folder, somehow affects the memory of the stm32.

Thanks Johannes, updating the web interface helped. Now I see the parameters in the console even after a reboot VCU.
