C40 / XC40 (fwd) reverse engineering information?
Hi Guys, just wanted to start a thread regarding the Volvo C40 and XC40 (pre December 2022 production date) front wheel drive unit and vehicle high voltage system parts. I have just purchased a very crashed damaged MY23 (fwd so must be 2022 production) it doesn't work (no power up at all just yet) and currently I'm still waiting to take delivery of it into my workshop. If anyone has any information they think might be useful please add to this thread. As I get into the disassembly process I'll add more information if and when I work out what is going on with it. Hopefully this will help others as well in being better able to recycle and use parts from these Volvo's and Polestar equivalent parts (other than just the great battery modules). Cheers for any help you guys can share here.

In Germany TUV says they do not certify conversions post 2012 because of complicated safety systems. If anyone has more data...
