Connectivity issues

Hi all.
Is there a way to directly connect to the zombieverter, not using the wifi option?
I get about 20% connectivity and tried various devices with a browser.
Theres a lot of networks in my neighbourhood so maybe they are interfering.
The frustration now deters me from any progress with my project at all.
Not sure if related but the forward/reverse in spot values will mostly show neutral and flick to the selected gear for a second every now and then. GS450H btw, gear switching wires and continuity tested and working properly, and the auto refresh is active when analyzing.
I'm also guessing the connectivity issues are not allowing me to initialize the shunt either, but thats for another day....
