Does anyone have any experience testing and wiring a Denso 78110-52053 (Prius) accelerator pedal position sensor?
This also has 6 wires.
I would like to test it before I hook it up to the inverter.
NOTE This pedal does not have reostats like viewtopic.php?f=4&t=158
pedal is multi year (apparently) around 2013 prius. It has the Magnets and dual sensor.

I believe this is the schematic for it,.

Yes it is dual hall sensor. I use it on my Mazda 4 years now. I like it since it is very easy to install.
Make sure you get the connector for it also.

All Toyota hybrid cars use the same sensor, only the casing is adapted. See my setup here...

Thanks for the response.
I did get the connector.

How would I test it?

Well supply each sensor with 5V and GND to corresponding supply pins. Then use multimeter to measure response from the sensing output pin. It should be somewhere from 0.8V to 4.2V depending to pedal position. Hall sensor is really op amp with certain voltage output.

Wiring was published here... viewtopic.php?f=9&t=335#p3772
Dont want to repeat myself too often.

Well good to go.
You can use voltage divider to get range acceptable to 3V3 logic out of it. But Johannes allready has that built in his design. You need to set the range in points of 0 to 4096 in web interface. Once input is calibrated pedal will work good for many years without problems.

Awesome. I am so excited to get Johannes' board. It should be delivered today.
