I have a UK 60kWh Leaf battery I’m taking apart for my project. Some details have been hard to be sure of so I will collate my own details here as I take it apart, plus add the other useful links I’ve come across. If there’s any questions I can answer while I work on it let me know.
For details of how the modules are numbered, this link answers…
Height of tall module was shown above. 250mm. Weight 30.3kg
Height of medium module - 198mm. Weight 24kg
Height of short module - 121mm. Weight 14.8kg
So total module weight (not incl busbars, contactors, case, etc) is
4 x 30.3 =121.2
+
4 x 24 =96
+
8 x 14.8 =118.4
= 335.6 kg.

Getting the modules out of the case is a slight struggle. I found this building tie (for wall to roof) was a useful way to get a purchase underneath to pull them up.
A few of the other bits and bobs for the record…

*Important*
The polarity of the tall and medium modules is the opposite of the short modules.

Are the modules flipped over?

Not sure exactly what you mean. They all have the top at the top, the bottom at the bottom, but the + and - terminals are the opposite way around on the short modules.
Does that answer?
I think it’s all about the HV path through all 16 modules and always keeping any busbars to the shortest possible length. By switching the short modules polarity in this way there are no long HV bus bars.
Check out one of the first links in this thread to another post to see it diagram form which makes it clear.
