Behaviour of Outlander OBC with Zombieverter v2.20a

Firstly thanks to everyone who worked on getting this charger working with Zombieverter. Fantastic achievement it worked first time for me.
However in certain circumstances the charger seems to hang and won't come back on again until I power cycle it. I'm hoping people here can let me know what I'm doing wrong.
When I plug in my ESVE, with zombie on and ignition off, zombie goes into charge mode, contactors close, ESVE delivers power and batteries charge as expected. I can stop charging by removing the ESVE charge plug and plug it back in to resume charging. That's all working perfectly.
However if I stop charging, turn the ignition on, go into run mode, turn the ignition off then insert the ESVE charge plug again it doesn't charge. The contactors close and zombie goes into charge mode but the ESVE doesn't deliver any power. I can get it working again by disconnecting +12v from the charger (PIN 8 on the charger's 13 pin connector), waiting a couple of seconds and then reconnecting it.
I've currently got PIN 8 connected to a permanent +12v source. Using an ignition switched source overcomes the problem but means the car has to be left with the ignition on while charging - (steal me mode).
I've tried it with and without the two resistors on the PP wire but they made no difference.
Suggestions greatly appreciated - thanks.
