Max motor/hs temps observed under hard use?

What are the highest temps anyone has seen on an LDU? I am finishing up the control code to drive the analog gauges in my swap and need some high values in order to scale my temp gauge to be reasonably useful.

80 degrees C is where the opensource code limits with a maximum of 85 degrees C. So a 0-90C or 0-100C would be a good scale.

Solid. Thanks.

I don't believe the motor temperature sensors are even implemented in software - hence the reason we did the thermistor testing in the oven. Temperatures under hard use are high. We will see 150 degC within 6-8 laps of a race before the Tesla controller limits us. Sounds extremely high, but that is one of the good things about induction motors. They are limited only by the temp rating of the epoxy, seals, and bearings. Industrial Class H motors are rated up to 180 degC continuous. PM motors cannot go as high without suffering demagnetization.

The temperatures I mentioned is the Heatsink temps not motor. There is some motor temps accessible but there is some muxing going on combining alot of different temps together on the two available temperature read outs.

There are four motor temp sensors. Two are implemented as I was given the temp/resistance info. Two were not as up to now no one had bothered to find out or share. The mux runs through all 3 heatsink and all 4 motor temps and displays the hottest.
