Hi guys I have a 2012 Kangoo with a type 1 OBC that charges max 3.7kw.

I would like a 11kw OBC. I have a free spot for the charge port, its the location where the fuel would usually go on a ice vehicle.
It needs to work with the modern tye 2 chargers since I can't get mine to work even with adapters so I'm currently just charging at home.

I have no recommendation for an 11kW charger, but nevertheless some thoughts:

- The OBC would need some communication with the BMS, to know when the battery is full, and maybe limit the charging power depending on SOC and temperature. So one task is, to find out this communication, and build a communication bridge between the car and the OBC.
- If CCS would be an option (from infrastructure and use-case point of view, and from the space of the connector), you could integrate a Foccci. The effort is not higher than with an AC OBC, it needs a HV connection, and a communication with the BMS.
- Adapter from Type 2 to Type 1 should be an easy story normally. Do you have a Schuko-to-Type1 "granny cable"? Then you could (just as temporary solution) build or buy a Type2-to-Schuko adapter, and plug in the granny cable there.

I have no desire for fast charging (too expensive) so 11kw would be ideal. Since I have to babysit the battery anyways I was thinking that someone could program a can board that will allow me to tweak settings or just set it to 390v and forget about the communication with the BMS.
