Hi everyone. I stumbled upon this forum by pure chance. Where I'm from, electric traction and information about new cars aren't as widespread.

Given the sanctions, I don't know how people will receive me here; I'm from Russia, Siberia.

I'm interested in either manufacturing an AA80E/AA80F automatic transmission control unit.

Or controlling the stock control unit via the CAN bus from this car.

The main problem is that I need to swap the 1UR-FSE engine to a different chassis. The engine is already running on a third-party ECU without the CAN bus.

I don't want to install a manual transmission.

Sorry, you're a bit inattentive.
My 1ur-fse works at analogue VEMS ecu.

Orion Cars only works with factory ECUs.
This guy won't share his knowledge. He's making money.

This forum only deals with starting electric motors or hybrid transmissions separately from the internal combustion engine. It does not cover automatic transmission control units. If you're installing a Tesla engine in a UAZ, they'll help here.

Does anyone have a CAN-BUS analyzer for Lexus/Toyota?
I posted a thread on the OEM forum.
I have a stock automatic transmission unit. Perhaps it needs to be fed RPM, engine load, and ABS speed information, and it will shift gears 1-8.

This is a forum for EVs and stretches to people attempting to do hybrids. The knowledge base here is around EVs. It's a bit like going to a sewing forum to ask about plastic surgery.

Understood you found a controller that might work for you here. We're trying to share that this isn't the best place for you to get support for what you're trying to do. If you decide to try to use that controller you'll likely get only partial support from this forum. It's not this forums focus, it's not about you, it's about what you're trying to do not fitting this forum / knowledge base as well as some other forums.
The person who developed that controller hasn't really had the time to get very into it and it's focused on ev swaps / hacking.
