hi all i have a porsche 911 with a tesla small rear motor in it i bought and fitted the kit from zero EV it was a task and i could not get it to work with their instructions in the end i sent it to them they re programmed it and it all worked we have been using it for 18 months or so but now it has developed a fault where when you accelerate the motor temp spikes right up and the motor shuts down i have checked the motor temp with a lazor heat gun and all seems around 30 degrees ive got the fans running all the time as the earth drop to switch the fans on has failed , i spoke to chris the original owner of zero ev ( now called somthing else ) he thought it might be the open inverter board so i bought a new board ( mine was version 5) the new board is version 9 and a lot of the coding peramiters are different ive swapped all the coding that i reconise but i get a code for voltage derate i have swapped the board back and the code goes and the motor works but still has the temp spike fault.
i am a mechanic and the programming side is way out of my knowldge base ive had the car off the road three months now and its doing my head in can anybody help or can you direct me to somone who could sort it for me.
many thanks jez

Are you sure it's not an air pocket?

Any chance to provide a plot containing motor temp, inverter temp and throttle while driving a minute?

i will fit the old board into the motor and take some spot values but i have lost the fan trigger earth swich from the board thats why i was fitting the v9 board

hi again i have made progress with my small rear drive fault ive got the new board installed managed to get the over current fault fixed i now have the motor in run mode fans all running but still no drive it knows what gear throttle seems to function ok but the only thing i have in spot values is "din-ocur"error can anyone tell me what that is and could it be why the car has no drive ( the last fault was throttle but ive adjusted the paramiters now)
many thanks

1. din_ocur means "digital input over current" which translates to
a) problem with current sensors
b) gate drive flags an error
c) gate drive has no power
d) interlock from DC connector no connected
Please search for "SDU overcurrent" for more suggestions

2. Please post parameters as json file. Link for that on the web interface itself.

thanks for that i will try to do the json files next time
i will see if i can find out the issue with the current sensors possably ive got a code wrong as it drove with the old V 5 board im just not sure which peramiter i need to change

ok so ive had another go
ive changed the peramiter on ocurlim to positive thats got rid if my din-occur error
ive checked the trouble shooting page and bridged conn2 on the v9 board as instructed
i now get no codes until i press the throttle the wheels turn very slightly then i get the overcurrent code
strangly forward is now reverse but shows forward in spot values
i will download peramiter file next
