MG5 Charge Port
The MG5 uses a combined Type 2 - CCS2 charge port. The charge port is of fairly basic design.
The HV cables exit sideways to give a reasonably slimline (<120mm) profile
Charge port locking is implemented with the usual 12V actuator, polarity of wires is reversed to unlock. There is a manual pull cable override.
There are 4 temperature sensors, one each of +ve and -ve pins for AC (Type2) and DC (CCS) connections.
The sensors are of NTC type, esitmated to be NTC100K - measured resistance 107kOhm at room temp.[1]
The are no LEDs for lighting nor charge status indications.
Printing on the port specifies DC Max 200A, 750V; AC 32A, 250V. This is consistent with the MG5s max. charging speed of 80kw (400V).

- AC : 4-in Yonggui YGC1174-EV-S - Unobtainium? (YGC1174-EV-S(3+2)P to mate, as found on MG Gen2 OBC)
