the em57 is the second generation motor used in the nissan leaf. it has been used from 20xx till present

The em57 utilities a stacking architecture for the power electrons, compared to the isolated em61 motor. nissan has continued to use the em57 motor in to next generation of vehicles, opening up a variety of OEM inviters to drive the motor. resulting in a mechanically plug and play inverter upgrade for the motor.
